About openecore

We engineer the system, not just its parts.

openecore is an engineering company building intelligent products and technology systems across software, AI, embedded systems, IoT and edge computing. We work across the boundaries of software and hardware to turn complex requirements into reliable, production-ready technology.

Vision & mission

Open at the Core. Intelligent at the Edge.

Vision

To set the benchmark for open and intelligent connected systems, empowering developers and businesses to build high-performance technology from edge to core.

Mission

To engineer open, intelligent and production-ready technology across software, embedded systems and connected devices — simplifying complexity, accelerating product development, and giving teams the freedom to build, adapt and scale.

Modern products rarely fit one category.

A connected intelligent product may need embedded software, device communication, AI models, backend services, cloud infrastructure and user-facing applications — all working together. Some of what we build lives entirely in a browser. Some of it runs on a board in a cabinet. Most interesting problems need both.

Rather than treating those as disconnected development projects, we engineer the layers together, so the integration between them becomes part of the solution instead of the thing nobody owns.

The name

Open + Embedded + Core

openecore stands for Open Embedded Core. It describes what we do in the order we do it: start from an open beginning, embed intelligence where it operates, and turn it into a working technological core.

Open

Possibility

Technology problems rarely have a single predetermined solution. We explore architectures, platforms and technologies based on the problem itself, choosing what fits the application rather than forcing every solution into the same stack. We believe technology should remain open, adaptable and built around real-world needs.

Embedded

Intelligence

We build intelligence into the systems where it matters — from embedded devices and connected hardware to edge AI. By bringing computation, sensing, connectivity and decision-making closer to the physical world, we create systems that can perceive, respond and operate with greater autonomy.

Core

Engineering

We bring software, firmware, AI, connectivity, electronics and interfaces together into systems designed to work reliably as a whole. Our focus is not simply on prototypes that demonstrate an idea, but on engineering robust solutions that continue to perform when they move from the lab into the real world.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

openecore is new. What we can tell you is how we intend to work, and you are welcome to hold us to it.

  1. 01

    One team across the boundary

Firmware, models, services and interfaces are built by people who talk to each other. The integration between them is the job, not an afterthought handed to whoever is left.

  2. 02

    Constraints before tools

A power budget, a latency target, a certification, a deployment story. We work out what the system has to survive before choosing anything to build it with.

  3. 03

    Built to be handed over

Readable code, written-down decisions and a system a client’s own team can take on. We are not trying to make ourselves impossible to replace.

  4. 04

    Honest about scope

If something is the wrong approach, or we are not the right team for it, we will say so early — when it is still cheap to change direction.

Work with us

Open possibilities. Embedded intelligence. Core engineering.

Whether it is an idea on a whiteboard or a system that has already run into its limits, we would like to hear about it.
